CHROMATIC A fascinating yet obvious encounter between Annika Grill and the Swedish Producer Charles Storm which have allowed Annika, Swedish singer and composer based in France, to feel just like home. The co-composition of French producer and composer Edith Fambuena on the song "Horses" is an important part of this album as they have worked for years on many recordings for other artists such as Jane Birkin, Jean Guidoni, les Kaolins, ...

THE FOREST I Music is a strange and beautiful country where colors meet. If and when they are aware of the other, they don’t mix nor do they blend over the other: they create beautiful streaks of new and fascinating taints that stand out right next to each other, enhancing and en-lightning both their similarities and their differences.

The title CHROMATIC is inspired by the documentary “South Africa, Chromatic Portraits” by Nathalie Masduraud and Valérie Urréa produced by ARTE and AXE SUD, the songs “Time” and “Fortress” are part of the score. Drummer and key partcipant of the album, Caroline Geryl, also participated on the recording of the documentary.
